If you haven’t read Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, you should. They just made a movie version, which I’m looking forward to seeing (hopefully!) soon. I think we’ve all heard the verse, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” but Miller challenges us to interpret it in a non-traditional way (this is a common theme throughout the book). Give it a try.
