The fact that I found the act of creating a wedding registry difficult is now laughable, as I stare choosing baby essentials in the eyes. It’s daunting, as you literally have no idea what you will need. If you read one book, it’s necessary to have X, Y, and Z, but according to another book, those items are all frivolous. As a minimalist (I seriously hate clutter), I will always lean towards the side of too little rather than too much. When I found NYC blogger Annie Dean’s “The Baby Essentials” post, I swooned. It’s exactly what I had been looking for. A concise list that states everything I do and do not need for Baby Petrovic. It’s an excellent read for all expecting mothers, and her recommended list of things to buy is extremely helpful. I know for a fact I will be referencing this while building our baby registry. It’s a really exciting time for you both! Angie’s pram for Logan is an Emmaljunga Nitro. It has the lightest chassis in the Emmaljunga range. It came with carrycot, car seat and adaptor, pushchair seat, rain covers etc. Logan is now 22 months and still has lots of room in his pram. It’s a lovely one to push too. Hope you are well? X

    • Thanks, Trisha! Logan is so cute – I love seeing pictures on Instagram. I looked up the Emmaljunga Nitro and it seems they don’t sell it in the US, but we’re looking for something very similar. I’m doing well! Please send my love to the whole family. xo

  2. If you plan on regularly carrying your baby, ask in the registry for a Boba 4g baby carrier. I just bought one (I carried him in a wrap and a mei tai, but he grew out of them!) and it saved my life (and back!). 🙂 This is us: http://themommyandbabylog.wordpress.com/2014/01/02/%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0%D1%82%D0%B0-%D0%BD%D0%B8-boba-4g-kangaroo/ (sorry, it’s in my native language, but it basically says I’m verry happy with it :D). Also for a bottle I can recommend Medela Calma bottle and nipple – it saved my breastfeeding when my boy needed a supplement. EVerybody said that if I start with formula supplements he’ll soon be on formula only, but no, thanks to the Calma nipple he turned to exclusively breastfeeding at 3 months old. 🙂
And last one – our stroller is Peg Perego Si. I love it, we rarely use it, because I’m a baby carrying advocate, lol :)) I love carrying him. But when we do go out with the stroller – it’s very nice – light and easy going 🙂
    Sorry for the long comment…
