FiveFavorite2015FallTrendsAlthough it may still be 90+ degrees here in Houston, I can tell cooler temperatures are on the horizon. Summer fashion is definitely my favorite, as I love colorful shorts and breezy dresses, but I do have an appreciation for fall trends, as it’s nice to change it up after months of feeling very casual. This year’s Pantone colors are so gorgeous! I am very excited about the trends this season, and I’m sharing my five favorites below. What are your thoughts on the styles below? What is your favorite fall trend? Are you ready for the new season?

Fall 2015 Trends Matchy Match2I have yet to embrace the two piece set, but I think this is about to change. I love pairing black with black, but that is so boring compared to the fun matching print options available this fall. I love the Kate Spade top and skirt with the flower on the sleeve. It’s gorgeous! As is the checkered shirt and skirt from Madewell. They just opened a new store ten minutes from our house, and I’m definitely going this week to check it out!

Fall 2015 Trends Shades of GrayMy appreciation for gray has grown in direct correlation with my love for Mary Seng’s blog – Happily Grey. I love the idea of mixing shades of gray in one outfit (like the J. Crew turtleneck and trousers). I also love this gray dress from Madewell (may have to nab it when I visit!).

Fall 2015 Trends BlingYes, finally we can move away from minimalist jewels (a trend Kendra Scott seemed to rightfully ignore) and embrace the bling. Bold jewelry is back, and I’m excited about it! I love this J. Crew necklace so much.

Fall 2015 Trends Mad About PlaidI have a closet full of plaid, just waiting for the leaves to start turning colors and the temperatures to dip into the 60s. I love plaid so much, and adore bows, so naturally this Kate Spade dress is high on my ‘must buy’ list.

Fall 2015 Trends Boots on PointLast, but not least: boots. Ah, I love when it’s cold enough to have your keep tucked warmly inside a pair of gorgeous boots. These sparkly boots from Kate Spade are seriously too much goodness for me to handle.
