DIY Stamp Save the Dates

I love coming across an invitation or Save the Date set that I’m obsessed with – most of them are found on Oh So Beautiful Paper. In fact, that’s where I found my stationery designer, Atheneum Creative. We met to review some options last Friday, and seriously y’all, I had the hardest time picking because I loved them all. I cannot wait to share pictures!

The other day, I totally fell in love with a craft + hot pink set of Save the Date invitations (here). Are they not gorgeous? And very DIY. That stamp from Antiquaria is amazing.

Jill & Kevin’s Save-the-Dates from Minted

Last month, I took my younger sister’s engagement photos. Kevin and I drove to Galveston together, as Jill was already halfway there getting her hair and makeup done by Sunkissed & Made Up. We shot a few photos in Beachtown, then headed to Pleasure Pier, where we took more, before heading back to Beachtown.  All in all, I am so happy with how they turned out, and more importantly, Jill and Kevin are too (or at least, that’s what they’re saying, ha!).

We searched for the perfect save-the-date and found This is Happening by designer Eric Clegg on Minted. I love how it looks with the beach scene. We put a few simple words on the back, sharing the location and directing them to their website (which Kevin designed and is amazing). As the perfect finishing touch, we ordered the custom stamps, which allowed us to share another photo we loved. My talented mom did the calligraphy on the envelopes. Jill came over on Wednesday and told me that people were already complimenting her on the save-the-dates!

Time is flying by, so we’re now thinking about the invitations! Bring on all of the beautiful Minted suites.

And now, prepare for photo overload!

Julia Ideson Library-Inspired Save-the-Dates

The wonderful ladies at Papellerie are at it again, creating one of my favorite unique save-the-dates ever. They designed a bookmark themed announcement for a wedding at the Julia Ideson Library in Houston, and I love how they turned out!

While I love my Kindle, I still love a good hardback book, and I am totally against folding pages over to mark my spot. I want to receive one of these bookmarks in the mail! Sasha and I attended a wedding at the Julia Ideson Library for two of our good friends last November, and I fell in love with this venue. Erin and Matt (well, perhaps just Erin) did a phenomenal job planning their big day – all of the subtle nods to the library surroundings were creative and very elegant. Both the bride and groom looked perfect. See some photos below, which I found on The Knot.

Photo + Stamp Save-the-Date

I super, super love Antiquaria. Their store is to-die for. All of the rubber stamps are gorgeous, as well as their entire collection of paper goods. I found this unique save-the-date on Oh So Beautiful Paper and thought it was an excellent DIY option for a wedding, or even for a baby announcement (obviously what’s on my mind now)! Antiquaria has a number of stamps (this is my favorite), even this baby one and this too!. The step-by-step instructions for the stationery shown below are in the post here. I’m seriously considering this for baby Petrovic!

I’m also in love with this clay DIY save-the-date. It’s such a great idea. I wish I were that creative!

Our Wine-Inspired Save-the-Dates

We sent our save-the-dates two weeks ago, and so I think it’s about time I posted some pictures! They were designed by Atheneum Creative, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out. We picked two custom logos for our stationary – one of them is shown on the wooden bottle below. I am currently “AS” and Sasha is “ASP” (Alexander Sasha Petrovic), and so we’ll become ASP on July 19. We have called each other ASP for awhile now, so we wanted to incorporate this into our logo. Now I cannot wait to help design the invitations!DSC_0441 DSC_0443 DSC_0445
