Calligraphy Filled Fiesta

I love a good fiesta, especially the one featured on Blue Eye Brown Eye here. Lauren designed the paper for this spectacularly colored wedding. I think that the flowers, paper, and desserts all complement each other perfectly. It’s fantastic. I am signed up for a calligraphy class led by Lauren (owner of Blue Eye Brown Eye) in March – I’m so excited. It’s a few days after the Meant to Be Calligraphy workshop I’ll be attending in Washington, DC with my mom. I can’t wait to learn from these two experts!

San Miguel de Allende Weddings

One of my closest friends got engaged on Tuesday, and I cannot stop daydreaming about their romantic nuptials in a gorgeous city in Mexico next year. They still haven’t landed on a place (I mean, it’s only been a few days!), but one of their favorite cities is San Miguel de Allende. I headed straight to Style Me Pretty for reference purposes, and ohmygosh… this city is stunning.

The first Style Me Pretty wedding venue is Casa Capricho.

Mexican Themed Invites

DSC_1134

One of my best friends, Kirby, through a shower for a good family friend, Philip, and her college friend, Sydney, this past Saturday, and she sent out the cutest invitations (found here) Since the she shower was being held at Pappasitos, she went with a Mexican theme. I’m borderline obsessed with papel picado, and cannot wait until Paola (another best friend) gets married, so that I can go crazy with this colorful paper (as expressed here). Some other pretty Mexican themed invites below!
