Nursery Gallery Wall

DSC_0445I absolutely love gallery walls – we now have them in three rooms of the house. I had been pining a few prints here and there for Isla’s room and recently pulled the trigger on all of them. I wanted to add some color to the very monochromatic room (lots of gold, cream beige, white), but didn’t want anything too bold. After buying the prints, I spent a few weeks scouring frames, then spent last Sunday cutting out kraft paper versions of the frames and arranging and rearranging them on the wall. The whole process takes quite awhile, but it’s totally worth it. I have some space on the left and right to expand the collection if desired!

Do you have a gallery wall in your house?

‘Hello, Baby’ Stationery

Of course, the minute we find out that we’re pregnant, my brain immediately thinks about the birth announcement. I’ve posted a few of my favorites here and here in the past, but have been scouring the internet a lot recently for other ideas.

The Perfect Nursery

I follow Taylor Sterling (founder of Glitter Guide) on Instagram, and I think she’s absolutely perfect. She has been posting pictures of different pieces of her nursery/office recently, but not until yesterday was the entire room revealed on GG. I literally have clicked through all of the pictures three times. I love them all so much. Every single detail is just as I would have dreamed – from the Rifle prints on the wall to the amazing Hayneedle furniture. Baby Elodie is going to have one stylish life. What do you think of the decorations?

A Growing Print Collection

prints

I officially move into The Manor when we get back from the wedding, and I cannot wait to take care of all the finishing touches so we can think about throwing a house warming party. I love photographs (obviously… or see title of this blog), so they are in frames all over the house. I’ve also been adding to our print collection – I’m going to have a gallery wall in the study and one of the guest rooms. Our prints come from Etsy, Furbish Studio, Minted, Wantful, Paper Source (wrapping paper!), and Rifle Paper Co. We have some others on our registry, and I’m sure I’ll continue to add to the collection over the next year as we finish hanging things on the bare walls. Where do you find your prints?

Rifle Paper Co. Hostess Gifts

hostessgifts2

Two of Mum’s friends threw me a wedding shower on Sunday, so I bought/made them little ‘thank you’ gifts. For my last shower, I went with a “Thanks a Latte” theme for the presents. However, for this shower, I was totally inspired by everything Rifle Paper Co, so I bought the Rosalie notepad and Gold Floral thank you card, which I paired with a muslin bag from Paper Source. I tied everything together with some of my favorite yard, added a monogram label (bought here) and added a gift card to one of our favorite (and local!) restaurants – Jonathan’s the Rub. I love this stuff so much!
