An Elegant White Carneros Wedding

One of my bridesmaids Tweeted a link to this feature on OnceWed.com when she saw that it was at our venue (The Carneros Inn), and I cannot stop looking at the pictures. All of the details are gorgeous – so simple and elegant. Instead of a white palette, our colors are light pink, green, and gold (think Rifle Paper Co., because yes, I’m obsessed with Anna Bond’s work). I love how one place can truly be very customized to each wedding! Less than five months to go, and I’m so excited.

Umm. Yes, please. I want Sandy and Belle to be there!

Our Wine-Inspired Save-the-Dates

We sent our save-the-dates two weeks ago, and so I think it’s about time I posted some pictures! They were designed by Atheneum Creative, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out. We picked two custom logos for our stationary – one of them is shown on the wooden bottle below. I am currently “AS” and Sasha is “ASP” (Alexander Sasha Petrovic), and so we’ll become ASP on July 19. We have called each other ASP for awhile now, so we wanted to incorporate this into our logo. Now I cannot wait to help design the invitations!

Unique Guestbook Ideas

I know the wedding isn’t until July, but I keep on thinking of little details and getting stressed that I haven’t made decisions about what we are going to do, like, for example, our guestbook. I’ve done some research and found a lot of fun, creative ideas. I have my favorite, but won’t share until after the wedding! Got to leave a little bit of mystery, right?

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Sasha and I are having a very low-key Valentine’s Day, which we were both in favor of, given the hustle and bustle of everyday. I got him a very small gift from Etsy (an inside joke) and a card (not featured below). I did some thorough research before getting his card, as anyone who knows me is aware I love, love, love paper. The Wedding Site

I was recently featured in this WordPress blog post about wedding sites, which was a huge compliment. Snapshots & My Thoughts chronicles much more than just wedding details (as mentioned in the post), and we do have an official wedding site that I also created on WordPress. I decided to use the Hatch theme and make it clean, white, and photo-focused, because I love pictures and many of my Scottish relatives have never met Sasha, so it’s nice to be able to share snapshots of us from the last two-and-a-half years. It’s very simple, but I loved making it. I’m going to be helping my sister design their site this week – I’m slightly addicted.
