La Vie En Rouge

Baby Pierson is at home now, and I’m not kidding y’all, he’s the cutest baby ever. There is plenty of photographic evidence below. When Sasha and I arrived at Ashley and Brian’s {absolutely perfect} Height’s abode, he was already peacefully sleeping, which was perfect for my shutterbug desires. The schematic theme of the day? Definitely red. Look at Ashley and Pierson’s matching red and white stripes and Trumpette cowboy socks from me and Sasha Pants.

{This is my favorite. Look at those freaking tiny fingers!}

Nautical Days

As mentioned here, I recently did some “damage” (or so he calls it) to Sasha’s closet, throwing out stuff that he had bought 10+ years ago (seriously?). Since then, I’ve done some shopping for him. His look yesterday? Very J.Crew, i.e. nautical prep. Bry made a sailing joke when he saw him, and Sasha swears he looks like Popeye. I believe it looks stylish, but I’m biased.

Welcoming “Baby Bud”

On Wednesday, Sasha’s best friend, Brian, and his wife, Ashley, had their first child. This was the first offspring for “The Buds” (as they call themselves), so this adorable little guy is a pretttty big deal around here. We went to visit him on Thursday evening and fell in love. He’s as cute as a button and the calmest baby I’ve ever held. Look at those teensy, tiny little fingers. How perfect is he?

Caffeinating at Agora

Thank you, AT&T, for having the slowest wi-fi ever in Apt. 335. This disturbance caused me to temporarily relocate to Agora, where the coffee tastes like heaven and the internet connection moves at, well, Olympic speed. I have only ever been to Agora once for vino and loved the atmosphere (makes me very excited about Athens in December!). It’s full of Montrose-types, chatting, caffeinating, and fiddling around on their Macs. I brought my camera, as the setting is very easy to shoot, and I wanted practice. I took 59 shots, but narrowed them down for your viewing. Go and visit if you’re in the area. Get the hazelnut coffee – amazing.
