We have our engagement pictures with Ryan in just a few weeks, and my goal for this weekend (besides going to Jill’s graduation in Austin!) is to pick out our outfits. I’ve had some of my favorite pictures saved for inspiration – see below! I cannot wait to be back in California.

We’re on our way to Colorado for my sister’s wedding. I could not be more excited. Seriously. They’re getting married in the gorgeous Dunton Hot Springs (post here) on Sunday. We’re spending the first few days at my parent’s new house in Durango. There will be a million pictures to follow! Stay tuned.

Are there two blogs more visually pleasing than Glitter Guide and Design Love Fest? Ugh. I’m obsessed. Bri (of the latter site) had her office space featured on GG the other day, and I cannot stop looking at the pictures! Is this space not perfect? I want to replicate immediately.

This week was hectic. Even beyond Monday’s events in Boston. I didn’t have one moment of alone time – it was go-go-go. Today is Friday, and I’m working from The Manor. It’s quiet. And I’m loving it. I saw this photo on Fourth Lake and was so drawn to it, as it exudes peacefulness. I added the Lao Tzu quote, as it rings so true – experiencing and welcoming silence is not always easy, but highly necessary. Another Tzu piece of wisdom that I love is the famous – “A journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step.” Anyways, I digress. I hope you are able to take some time in the following few days to sit and enjoy the silence. Have a wonderful weekend!
My older sister is getting married in less than a month, and I could not be more excited for her and her fiance. They chose the most gorgeous wedding location in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado, which is an hour outside of Durango, where my parents just bought a house. They have rented the entire “town” – which holds 44 guests (small wedding!). The scenery is beautiful, as are the bride and groom. McKenzie and Bryan are coming too, so we’ll spend the weekend gallivanting around Colorado before the wedding on Sunday evening. Check out these pictures on Style Me Pretty – eeps! Cannot wait.
