Favorite Looks of the Week

As someone who really appreciates photos, it makes sense that I love Instagram. I don’t have Facebook, so it’s my one social media vice. I try not to check it too often, but my self-control totally went out the window during NYFW. I was constantly scrolling through the pictures of the gorgeous shows – J. Crew! Ugh, perfect. Kate Spade? Gorgeous. Tory Burch? I want it all. However, my favorite part was seeing all of the fashion bloggers dressed to the nines. Some of my favorite looks are below. Which do you like best?

The Rugged Man

I bought Sasha this J. Crew Factory Sherpa-Lined Jacket for our upcoming Colorado trip because it was so cheap. I honestly had no idea if he would like it or not, but thank goodness, he took to it immediately and wore it around the house. It is very comfy, I must admit, as I’ve worn it quite a bit myself. The “ultimate GQ man” to me is very rugged – perhaps why I love Colorado as much as I do. Sasha loves this style as well and will be decked out in this very get-up during our trip (I do the packing, of course!). Those MacAllister boots are my favorite, but we had to buy insoles to make them more comfortable. What is your favorite male look?

PS How amazing are those lab boxers? We called them the Belle Boxers (after our pup).

Favorite Looks of the Week

Work has been crazy busy this week, and with Sasha in Austin for the University of Texas at Austin MBA in Houston Program’s (a mouth full?) “intensive week,” looking at fashion blogs before going to bed has been my calming factor. I honestly could not narrow down the number of “favorite looks” – there were so many. In fact, Jennifer (of The Native Fox) had two – she is a real-life Barbie doll though.

I drove to Austin last night, and we’re going to spend the day at Mt. Bonnell and Town Lake. Cannot complain! Have a wonderful weekend, y’all.

Jewelry Heaven

I love finding new online treats, especially those of the jewelry nature. I first discovered Sweet & Spark months ago (here), but hadn’t made a purchase until recently. I bought the gorgeous little gold bow pin in the picture above – the perfect jacket or blazer accessory. It arrived this weekend, wrapped perfectly with the cutest postcards ever (Mara, I’ll be needing your address…). Chunky gold jewelry has forever been my obsession, and I’ve got my eyes on these three gold gems. The pearl necklace is so classic. Decisions, decisions, decisions. So happy to “Share the Spark”! Especially because the founder, Jillian, is an absolute angel. Go and see what you find.

Favorite Looks of the Week

Some new additions to the ‘Favorite Looks of the Week’ series today! I love all of the outfits so much, but props to Victoria for making her husbands belt work so well with her pretty white dress, Blair for looking effortlessly chic in her white maxi, and Liz for pulling off my favorite denim jacket look (she’s the cutest person ever).
