Birthday Gift Ideas using Walmart’s NextDay Delivery

With school back in full swing, the birthday parties have already picked up. We’ve got three on our calendar for Isla this month and one for Emilia, and I’m notoriously thinking about a gift just days before the party. Fortunately, Walmart’s new NextDay Delivery service has hundreds of amazing gifts for young kids and you can order them and have them at your door the very next day – no membership required! It’s so easy to toggle to ‘NextDay Delivery eligible’ on the site on your computer or mobile device to see which items are part of the new service. I did a round up of some of our favorite baby and kid toys for one to five year olds – the girls have been given or played with all of these at friends’ houses.

Isla chose a gift for the first party we’re going to this weekend – she wanted to get her friend these in-line training skates. They are so cute, as well as being a good way to get kids to learn how to skate. She loves helping with wrapping (or bow-ing when they come in a cute bag like this!). It’s been fun to have Isla help me pick, wrap and give gifts instead of doing it all myself. Isla is feeling more and more like a ‘big’ big kid these days. I still can’t believe it!
