The past month has been a big one for our Georgie Girl. She had her first tooth come in (the other is right under the surface!) on the bottom, which has been bothering her for the past week. She took two road trips this past month – one to Austin and another to San Antonio. She is solidly sitting up, crawling around at a rapid pace, and as of today, starting trying to pull herself up on the couch. Slow down, slow down!
Georgie is finally enjoying her non-nursing meals! She loves steamed sweet potatoes, black beans, broccoli, strawberries, salmon and warm apples. She is a total mess after dinner, which is when she gets to let loose with food the most. The girls love helping with bath time afterwards (I think they see it as a way to postpone their own bedtimes!).
Georgie said “Mama” three times so far – with witnesses each time, or else Sasha would claim it wasn’t so! Ha. It definitely isn’t a consistent thing – nor was it necessarily directed at me, BUT you’d better believe I am claiming it as her first word!
She’s still a smiley, easy going little girl, and we love her to pieces. I honestly can’t imagine life without her anymore! I also cannot believe we’re four months away from her first birthday – slow down time! Here are some of my favorite photos that capture her silly self at this fun age.
