Happy Boxing Day! Yesterday was one of the best Christmases that I can remember. We celebrated at my parent’s house with my sisters – the girls love spending time with everyone and were spoiled rotten. We’re at home, having a quiet day today, and I realized I never published a long-time drafted holiday decor post! So alas, here it is – post-Christmas!

We setup our Christmas decorations over a month ago, and I have to say that time has truly flown by ever since! We had the help of my friend, Whitney – who owns Whitney Elaine Designs – and I wanted to document how everything looks so I can replicate next year in Austin! She decorated my dream tree in my office – inspired by one of my favorite designers, Caitlin Wilson. It is pink and blue and just as I had dreamed! I am also very grateful for one of my best friends, Monica – who owns Paper Flour Ink – who created gorgeous initial appliqués for my new stockings! She is amazing. I even setup baby girl’s stocking out of excitement (praying time continues to fly by for the next two months until her arrival!).

I was fortunate enough to borrow a lot of her decor for our dining room (except I bought the tree for a steal of a deal from a neighbor/client of mine!), since we are decorating that room very differently in the new house (no more black and white).

It’s amazing how festive decorations can make you feel. With twinkling Christmas lights, stockings hung by the fireplace and giant garlands on your door, all you need is a little Christmas music to make you feel merry.

I hope you are enjoying this holiday season with ones you love!
